Commissioned research, offering a proven approach to the conceptualisation, design and management of research. We have a history of delivering excellent policy and institutional research outcomes, on time and within budget. In this, we work effectively with local and international bodies, from farming, environmental and social improvement perspectives and we take seriously the challenge of ensuring that high quality research is delivered in ways that increase the likelihood of adoption.

Teaching postgraduate students. We offer four Masters in Law units, intended to provide the depth and breadth of knowledge that will be needed by the future leaders in sustainability. These four units are available to both law and non-law graduates, and are focused on policy-creation skills. More information about the program may be found here.

Supervision, with a cohort of Masters and Doctoral students who work under the supervision of the AgLaw team to develop new theories and methods to deal with intractible issues of sustainable production and communities. Key characteristics of our supervision service are:
- a team approach to supervision, consisting of staff of the Centre, collaborators within UNE, and our network of adjuncts and associates;
- the potential to access (on a competitive basis) scholarships and supportive research fellowships;
- an emphasis on ensuring that the student does have access to empirical research collaborators, through our approach to engaged scholarship.
