Bachelor of Medicine - Joint Medical Program
Congratulations on receiving your offer to the Bachelor of Medicine - Joint Medical Program to undertake your studies at the University of New England
Now that you have received your official offer through the Universities Admission Centre you must register and respond by the date advised below by Accepting, Declining, or submitting a case for Deferral which will be considered (requests to defer are not automatically granted).
Responses must be registered by midnight on the following dates.
Main Round Offers released 18 January 2012
Response required by midnight Wednesday 25 January 2012
Late Round Offers released 1 February 2012
Response required by midnight Wednesday 8 February 2012
Final Round Offers released 8 February 2012
Response required by midnight Wednesday 15 February 2012.

Trimester 1 - 2012 Direct Entry Open/Closing Dates
Direct Admissions - Extended Closing Date
Applications for admission can be submitted up to Midnight on Sunday 12th February.
- Please note that these are considered late applications.
- There is no guarentee given for an outcome in time for enrolment in Trimester 1 units
- Only complete applications will be assessed for an outcome.
- Direct applications are open from midday Tuesday 16 August, 2011.
- On-time applications can be submitted up to midnight on 24 December, 2011. Complete applications are guaranteed an outcome.
- Late applications can be submitted up to midnight on 12 February, 2012. These are not guaranteed an outcome.
- Incomplete applications may not receive an offer of admission.
Documentation Required to Support Your Application Please note that some courses require you to provide documentary evidence to support your application for admission. These requirements vary from course to course. Where required, you must provide copies of certificates and transcripts or other relevant documentation, such as employers' letters, in order to establish your eligibility. If you are unsure of what documentation is required for your application for admission please consult the Courses and Units Catalogue.

Bachelor of Medicine - Joint Medical Program
Admission requirements for the Bachelor of Medicine - Joint Medical Program commenced in early June and are based on three components: UMAT results, your ATAR and an interview.

Psychology Courses
1) Master of Psychology (Clinical) closing on 4th October, 2011
2) Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology closing on 31st October, 2011
3) Fourth year Bachelor Honours programs in Psychology [Bachelor of Arts with Honours, Bachelor of Science with Honours and Bachelor of Social Science with Honours] closing on 31st October, 2011
Bachelor of Nursing
- Applications direct to the University for the Bachelor of Nursing can be submitted up to midnight on Monday 6 February 2012. Late applications will not be accepted.
- Applications for the Bachelor of Nursing via UAC and QTAC closed 2 February 2012.
- Applications for the Advanced Diploma in Nursing can be submitted up to midnight on Monday 6 February 2012. Late applications will not be accepted.
Posgraduate Applications
- Postgraduate applications via UAC are now closed. All applications for postgraduate study may be submitted direct to UNE.
2012 UAC Open/Closing Dates
Undergraduate and Postgraduate applications via UAC for Trimester 1, 2012 are now closed.
2012 QTAC Open/Closing Dates
Applications via QTAC for Trimester 1, 2012 are now closed. Applications for Trimester 2, 2012 are now open.

Summer Semester and other areas of interest
- Applications for admission to courses are now open and will close on 21 November, 2011. Summer Semester commences on 28 November 2011 and ends on 3 February, 2012.
The following courses are available for admission in the Summer Semester:
- Teacher Education Enabling Course
- Master of Nursing Practice
- Cross Institutional unit studies
- Non Award unit study
All Applications for Cross-Institutional, Non-Award and Summer Semester are made directly to UNE
Cross-Institutional and Non-Award
- Please note that Commonweath Supported Places and Cross-institutional places are only available to current students at UNE or another University.
- Non-Award places are available to all applicants.
Advanced Standing (credit)
Advanced Standing Applications received on or before 5pm Monday 28 November, 2011 will be processed prior to the commencement of Trimester 1, 2012. Applications lodged after this date may not be processed prior to the commencement of Trimester 1, 2012.
