There are many advantages of staying at one of UNE's seven residential colleges during your residential school. Apart from being an ideal learning environment, every university facility is right at your fingertips … and it's our main priority that you feel right at home during your stay with us.

There is much more to living on campus than meets the eye. Being a residential college guest not only offers a wide range of accommodation and catering choices, but also creates the opportunity for you to network and share experiences with other distance education students.

Your choice of accommodation style

With the convenience of the UNE teaching area right at your doorstep, make yourself at home in the rooms at Mary White College. Included in the price are three meals per day.

The other available residences offer comfortable single room accommodation with shared bathroom facilities and two meals per day (breakfast & dinner). All are just a 15-minute leisurely walk across our picturesque campus to the teaching area.

Each bedroom in all UNE Colleges is provided with:

• linen (pillow, sheets, blanket)
• towel
• writing desk, chair and desk light
• book case and cupboard
• central heating
• adequate ventilation and natural lighting
• telephone access

Washing machines, dryers, electric irons and ironing boards are available for use in each residence.

Parking space is available at the Residential Colleges. If you need to park at UNE (permitted in designated bays only, not on the grass) you should purchase a parking coupon on arrival from one of the ticket machines located on campus ($4.00/day or $10/week). Pay-for-Parking applies only on weekdays, 8.00am - 4.30pm. For added security all parking areas are well lit. A 24-hour security service operates across UNE, which includes the Residences. You will find everything you need already located on campus at UNE. There is a newsagent, bookshop, indoor heated pool, modern fitness gym, hairdresser, coffee shop, student cafeteria, licensed restaurant, post office, ATMs and specialty shops.
