What can I do at the Centre?
Apart from degree information and advice on all aspects of Study at UNE Manning Valley Centre has three computers for student usage. All are on-line and connected to a printer. A photocopying service is also availble for students.
During the semester, we hold Study Skills workshops covering:
- Effective Study Techniques and Time Management
- Essay Writing Skills
- Referencing and how to avoid Plagiarism
and
Exam Preparation workshops covering:
- Fear of Failure and Exam Anxiety, Procrastination
- Tips for Multiple Choice and Essay Questions
- Improving Memory and Concentration
