UNE's study centre provides students with the following:
* 10 computer terminals
* 4 printers
* 2 small study/meeting rooms
* video conferencing facilities
* internal phone to campus in Armidale and all regional study centres
* staff on site from 9am - 5pm weekdays
* out of hours swipe card access until 9.30 each evening and on weekends
* kitchen, bathroom facilities and breakout area
* area for workshops and meetings
* data projector

What can I do at the Centre?
All course details are available both online and from the UNE Manning Valley Centre in Taree. Undergraduate, Postgraduate and College accommodation information, library and student support service details are also available. A full time staff member is available to assist prospective students with enquiries and assistance with the admission and enrolment processes, as well as providing support for current students with any concerns, queries or assistance they may require.
At the beginning of every trimester the Student Support Team presents a face-to-face 'Getting Started' Orientation session at the Taree Study Centre for new students.
Each trimester the following video conference workshops will be available for students to participate in from the Taree facility:
- Academic writing, referencing and studying at UNE
- Academic writing for post-graduate (research) students
- Examination preparation workshop for all students
Students need to keep an eye on their UNE email addresses for information on what is happening and when at the Taree facility.
