The UNE Centre for Agribusiness is an international network of people, research, industry and government. It seeks answers to the some of the big questions about our planet’s future.

It has four programs: three in research programs and one in skills and education.

Research Programs

  1. Agribusiness information systems
  2. Commercialisation and uptake of technologies in agribusiness
  3. Policy and decision tools

Education and skills

We offer short course training to industry and government, and also operate an annual international agribusiness study tour for UNE students and young professionals.

UNE Centre for Agribusiness Strategy, Activities and Impact: an operating matrix

Within UNE’s strategic plan, the four programs are implemented around the subject matter shown on this operating matrix. Our impact is achieved in multidisciplinary applications across a spectrum of delivery of applied research output through to industry, students, and community. The Centre also publishes three agribusiness research journals, providing an outlet for applied research as well as a profile for early career researchers and agribusiness professionals.
