We're regionally based and globally connected

The UNE Business School continues a proud history of delivering research and education which is of practical, commercial and sustainable benefit to our regional and global stakeholders. Our flagship degrees in accounting, agribusiness, business and economics prepare our graduates for work in business and policy environments, ready to solve problems and lead positive change.

Within the UNE Business School we are committed to ensuring your learning activities are engaging and effective.  As a signatory to UNE's Principles of Responsible Management Education we are committed to developing the capabilities of our students to be future generators of sustainable value for business and society at large and to work for an inclusive and sustainable global economy.

We are recognised nationally and internationally for the quality of our on-campus student experience, as well as the accessibility and flexibility of our online education. UNE has consistently been awarded five stars out of five stars in the Good Universities Guide for student satisfaction.

We offer a diverse range of degrees. Our awards in accounting are nationally accredited awards recognised by all the accounting bodies in Australia.  We are particularly proud of our ongoing relationship with the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) as we provide their Graduate Certificate in Public Accounting and their Master of Commerce (Public Accounting) degree.  Completing the program at UNE allows students to advance to the Member level (MIPA).

As well, we offer awards in economics and agribusiness which are informed by national and international research by our staff, who are recognised by their colleagues as leaders in the field.  Our graduates are recognised for their strong analytic and problem solving skills, and are highly sought by employers.  They apply their skills to addressing business and public policy problems – making a difference to the communities in which they live and work.

We have degrees in management – including human resource management, marketing, leadership, strategic organisational development. These awards are grounded in practice and informed by the latest scholarship.  As a result, we are confident that as a graduate of our awards your practice will be enhanced.

As a graduate of any of our awards, we know you will be well prepared for the professional challenges ahead.

In designing our students' learning activities, we are cognisant of the different contexts in which you operate.  We seek to ensure that the delivery mode meets your needs – whether you are on-campus or online.

For our on-campus students, the personalised experience of both campus and college life is a distinguishing feature of studying at UNE.  Our students value the intimacy of their UNE experience and it stays with them for life.

Flexibility is the key to our online programs.  Whatever your commitments you can study at any time or place around the world — at home, travelling or at work.  Your study can be balanced with the competing interests of work, family and social commitments.  Our courses are structured to make the workplace your classroom, so you can continue to develop your career, enhancing your skills immediately.

We have students across Australia and internationally, and we use our technology to link you with our teaching staff and your fellow students.  You don't have to study in isolation.

We are proud of our commitment to our research led teaching and our staff are active scholars – recognised nationally and internationally in their fields.  Many have research collaborations with industry and academic colleagues across Australia and internationally and their scholarship informs their interaction with our students.

I trust you will find studying at the UNE Business School an engaging experience which will prepare you well for lifelong learning.
