Our 3 year Bachelor of Agriculture program has a practical focus underpinned by science and close links with industry. You will learn cutting-edge agricultural technology techniques at our innovative SMART Farms including our production feedlot at Tullimba. Specialise in plant or animal production, or choose our general major.

Due to high demand, UNE now offers a Technology major, where students study units focusing on remote sensing, global positioning systems, surveying, modern software development, machine guidance systems, soil sensors and adoption of Precision Agriculture.

What should I study at school?

You need a sound knowledge of mathematics, and we recommend you study biology and/or chemistry.

Can I apply for early entry?

Yes, all Year 12 and some TAFE students can apply directly to UNE for Direct Early Entry before your results are released.
