Wetlands High scenario

A School of Education seminar presented on May 8th, 2013 by Ros Foskey and Gordon Cope

In 2011 Ros Foskey and Gordon Cope developed the Wetlands High scenario in collaboration with Best Employment and the Linking Together Community Centre for a community project in Inverell. In this presentation we will show footage of the scenario and explain how it was used in both Inverell in 2011 and in Tamworth in 2012 to generate a community conversation around community-school relationships. We will examine the themes which are integrated within the characterisations, along with how and on what basis these particular themes were chosen. We will then explore with the seminar audience, if, and how another version of the scenario (filmed in green screen by students at Armidale TAFE) could be used as a learning resource within the School of Education at UNE.
