Accommodation options

The official accommodation for AAA 2004 is at Mary White College, a residential college on the main UNE campus within easy walking distance of the conference session venue. Costs start from around AUD $57.20 per night (shared bathroom; includes full cooked breakfast). Contact UNE Conference Company on 02 6773 2154 or confco@une.edu.au for further information.

Childcare

Childcare can be obtained during AAA 2004 at either Yarm Gwanga Childcare Centre (on the UNE Campus) or at Hobbit Preschool and Childcare Centre (2km away). All bookings are subject to availability of places. Please contact the centres directly for further information, including fees, and to book a place.

Meals

 

Meals for which AAA 2004 will arrange catering

Lunch and morning and afternoon teas, 13-15 December

The cost of these meals will be included in the registration fee.

 

Dinner, 13 and 14 December

A buffet style dinner will be available from the UNE Bistro on 13 and 14 December for $12 per person, per night (drinks from the bar will be extra). Indicate you intend to dine at the Bistro on these nights on, and include payment with, your registration form. Subject to a sufficient number of diners.

 

Women's Network Breakfast, 14 December

Pay on the day (ca $10) but indicate your interest on your registration form.

 

Conference dinner, 15 December

The conference dinner on 15 December will be held at Booloominbah, a restored pastoral homestead and the original home of UNE. The cost per person for a two course dinner with non-alcholic drinks will be $45. Indicate that you will attend on, and include payment with, your registration form.
