Of interest to Aboriginal Community groups, archaeologists
and anyone with an interest in Australian history and anthropology,
this collection tells the stories of sixteen projects from a
diverse range of sites. It illustrates the superior outcomes
that can be acheived when archaeologists and Aborigines work
closely together.
The book retells the stories in an easy to read style, supported
by editorial introductions, photographs in colour and black and
white, and maps. Greater understanding of the stories is provided
by Robyne Bancroft's interviews with Aboriginal participants
at the conference about their reactions to the projects and posters.
